Locality: USA, Utah, Salt Lake, Approximately 0.47 mile WNW of intersection of Wasatch Blvd and Fort Union Blvd (base of Big Cottonwood Canyon) ca. 15 meters NE of the paved edge of Fort Union Blvd and N of the Montessori School at 3422 E Fort Union Blvd.

Elevation: 1475 meters Verbatim Elevation: 4840 ft.
Habitat: Palouse prairie remnant on flatlands near ridge of N-facing slope.
Associated Species: Wyethia amplexicaulis, Artemisia ludoviciana, Quercus gambelii, Rhus glabra, Secale cereale, Wyethia
Description: Habitat being replaced by Secale cereale and other invasive/non-native species. Plants grow here with Wyethia but with no apparent intermediates. Balsamorhiza sagittata is absent from this location. In flower.
