Locality: United States, Colorado, Delta, COLORADO. Delta Co.: Grand Mesa, Church Camp Fen.
Habitat: Dry slope in a high meadow; growing with sedges, rushes, corn lilies, and death camus.
Notes: Flowers brilliant red; plants about 2 feet tall; growing in clusters. Collected on the Chautauqua Field Course entitled "Geology and Ecology of the Colorado Western Slope" conducted by P. Kelly Williams and Donald Sullivan. Collected for the Herbarium of Delta State University (DSC).
