Habitat: 2 year burn area of montane forest. Plants in association-rabbit brush, artemesia, colorado thistle, pinon and juniper. Uses: Hopi ground the flower with meal for the hunters to eat before antelope hunt. Used by some groups as blood or heart medicine. FL
