Habitat: Road disturbed mixed desert shrub/semi-arid steppe on E face of Tushar Mtns. ENE aspect, 0-3° slope.
Substrate: Brown (7.5 YR 4/2) colored sandy soil.
Associated Species: Artemisia tridentata, Abronia fragrens, Brickellia oblongifolia, Bromus tectorum, Aristida spp., Elymus elymoides, Elymus juncea, Gutierrezia sp., Sisymbrium altissimum
Description: Plants about 200 on 5 A; 2-3 ft tall.
Reproductive Condition: in bloom, fruit bearing
Notes: Seed collected from 150 plants; to be used for general research, germ plasm studies, long-term storage & site rehab. 'Rocky Mountain beeplant.' Voucher for: Seeds of Success program.
