Location Remarks: Powderhorn Lake Forest Preserve, Hegewisch, Chicago. Brainard Ave., east of Burnham Ave. Collected at edge of marsh, southeast of pipeline and powerlines.
Habitat: Narrow band of wet prairie between marsh and mesic sandprairie
Associated Species: Carex stricta, Spartina pectinata, Solidago gigantea, Lythrum salicaria, Calamagrostis canadensis, Apios americana
Description: Common to abundant with both sterile and fruiting culmsto 1 m
