Habitat: Mixed habitat of wet streamside with spruce canopy; and open, rocky meadows interspersed with spruce forest. Growing in openings in aspen/spruce groves.
Description: Leaves lance-linear, serrate. Inflorescence with many heads. Heads somewhat turbinate with few rays. Plants ca. 1m tall. Full bloom. Very common.
