Outcrop of weathered and fractured whitish limestone at top of high, N facing ridge, this formation capped a solid layer of tan limestone (10 ft thick) that layed over many ft of blackish shale, similar formations occurring at scattered sites along ridge, vegetation spars, of Juniperus monosperma and scattered perennial forbs.
