Habitat: Confusion Range, S side of Kings Canyon. BLM lands. Rocky, windswept rabbitbrush-grassland on steep, primarily N-facing slope. Sevy dolomite surfacing. Scattered pinyon and juniper.
Notes: Scattered on slope. Small trees to 5 m high. (Both boxed specimen and exsiccata prepared.)
