Habitat: Small sand-pine [Pinus clausa] scrub between once sandhill oak, now citrus groves -- and low hammock; with Pinus clausa, Ceratiola, Quercus myrtifolia, Q. geminata, Osmanthus megacarpus, Afzelia pectinata [Seymeria pectinata], Sisyrinchium xerophyllum, Garberia, Lyonia ferruginea, and Serenoa repens.
