Habitat: Shallow serpentine soils. Chaparral and woodland burned in late June 1965 during Las Pilitas Fire. Dom shrubs are Heteromeles arbutifolia, Quercus durata, and Ceanothus cuneatus. Burned area with numerous annuals and bulb-forming perennials, but without "fire annuals"; Loc abundant
