Very shrubby lakeside fen. Mostly sedge meadow and wooded fen. Dominant vegetation includes Carex stricta, C. hystericina, Rosa, Frangula alnus, Larix laricina, Toxicodendron vernix, and Symphylotrichum firmum. Invaded by Phalaris arundinacea, Frangula alnus, and Rosa multiflora. Some boggy areas in the northeast. Drosera rotundifolia were found on Sphagnum hummocks in wooded fen. In southern section, ATV or truck activity, in open sedge meadow. Possible hunting site. In center of fen, 100m northeast of Typha pond, 250m west of lake. Deer standing white cedar tree to the northeast. Area dominated by Carex, Dasiphora fruticosa, and Asteraceae with moderately dense shrubs of Rhamnus alnifolia, Toxicodendron vernix, and Cornus. Ground hummocky and wet but not puddling.
