Lake side prairie fen. Mostly Cyperaceae, Cornus, and button bush dominated marl zone with some Asteraceae and Dasiphora fruticosa near the wooded borders. Invaded by Phragmites, Phalaris arundinacea, and Frangula alnus. In northeastern portion of prairie fen, 100m east of Little Portage Lake, 100m north of boardwalk. Area dominated by Cyperaceae, Phragmites, Thelypteris palustris, and Salix. A Salix or Cornus shrub every 1-4m2. Ground with small hummocks, standing water or puddles in steps.
