Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. High quality sedge meadow just east of creek. Some shrubby invasion from Cornus sericea and Frangula alnus. Other species include Dasiphora fruticosa, Solidago ohioensis, Carex sterilis, Symphyotrichum laeve, and Solidago riddellii. Ground moist and slightly squishy.
