United States, Colorado, Mesa, 2.2 mi S, 17.2 mi W DeBeque. (Take X.50/222 Road [to Wild Horse Area] 11.5 roadmi E from junction with 204/45 Road, then O.90 Road 6.5 roadmi SE. Site on N side of O.90 Road.) Just E Corcoran Peak.
I put the point in the UTM equivalent of the lat/long given in the NE1/4 of the TRS given on the N side of 0.90 road at 2099m (6886ft.). AAS It looks like all of the references to east in this record should be west. Then the record makes sense. (West f
2100 meters Verbatim Elevation:
Weedy, grazed, somewhat scrubby ridgetop and NW-facing sandstone bluffs. Scattered pinyon and juniper; gambel oak and serviceberry common. Rocky, sandy, frequently barren soil. Locally common in wash. Also collected at this site: E. eatonii var. eatonii, E. divergens var. divergens; and E. pumilus ssp. concinnoides var. condensatus.
