Notes: H. villosa var. imbricata, det. V. L. Harms 1963. / Heterotheca foliosa; A fairly distinct race of H. villosa, but connected by intermediates. It has nothing to do with H. fulcrata, a race of southern N.M., Texas, and Arizona; det. W. A. Weber 1996. Originally ID as Chrysopsis villosa.
