In old-growth spruce-fir forest. 30% slope, wet soil. The rich plant assemblage includes Senecio triangularis, Micranthes odontoloma, Geranium richardsonii, Mitella pentandra, Cardamine cordifolia, Equisetum arvense, and Trollius albiflorus.
