Habitat: Steep rocky slope. Pinyon-juniper-oak woodland. Associated plants: Quercus hypoleucoides. Height: 40-50 ft. D.B.H.: 1-1.5 ft. Scattered. Bark orange brown, with flat scaly plates.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
