Soil characteristics: Duckston sand, 0 to 2 percent slope (365) - poorly drained sands in shallow depressions between coastal dunes and on nearly level flats between dunes and marshes. Associate plant species: Hypericum gentianoides, Hypoxis curtissii, Paronychia erecta, Scoparia dulcis. Uncommon.
