Associated Species: Juniperus monosperma, Tiquilia hispidissima, Artemisia bigelovii, Oenothera hartwegii subsp. filifolia, Quercus undulata, Ephedra torreyana, Mentzelia todiltoensis, Yucca baileyi, Sporobolus nealleyi, Schizachyrium scoparium
Description: Petals dark yellow with pale burgandy streaks on lower adaxial surface, but only yellow at lowest 1-2 mm making a round yellow center (eye). Mostly annuals with a few shot-lived perennials.
Reproductive Condition: Flower/Fruit
Notes: Population very localized; a few hundred plants.
