Habitat: Disturbed strip along canal dominated by ruderals
Associated Species: Other than Linum perenne (non-local genotype, introduced), co-occurrring with a veritable cornucopia of undesirable exotics including Rumex crispus, Malva neglecta, Onopordum acanthium, Dipsacus fullonum, Taraxacum officinale, Erodium cicutarium, Convolvulus arvensis, Tragopogon porrifolius, Bromus tectorum (and other non-native grasses), Cardaria draba, Sonchus asper, and with Phalaris arundinacea heavily dominating the canal banks.
Reproductive Condition: Fruit
Individual Count: 90+
Notes: Past flowering and spreading seeds; occurring along about a 30 meter continuous stretch; fully scattered within the strip from near road edge to right along the canal bank; 90 adult plants counted; invasive
