Substrate: Basalt with weathered sandstone, basalt cobbles and boulders.
Associated Species: Pinus edulis, Artemisia nova, Artemisia bigelovii, Artemisia tridentata, Juniperus osteosperma, Poa fendleriana.
Description: Local, limited to a small narrow ridge (road cut?), ca 25 or so plants, this plant with 4 rosettes, plants 1/6 m high x 1/4 m wide, flower stalk ca 1/3 m high, inflorescence down into leaves, racemose.
