Description: Petals light pink; plants scattered in open sandy soil beneath open patch of live pines; uncommon. Photographed.
Notes: Recently burned Pinus ponderosa forest, with numerous standing dead trees and widely scattered live trees; understory of scattered sandstone rock outcrops and sandy soil, with grasses, Heterotheca villosa, Erigeron.
