Habitat: Extremely steep, SSW-facing, rock-strewn talus slope at the base of the Brazo. Extrememly rocky talus with 1" litter layer between rocks.
Associated Species: Holodiscus dumosus, Abies concolor, Ribes sp., Populus angustifolia.
Description: 3" tall thicket. Flowering stalks pinkish; youngest twigs yellow-green, mid. twigs reddish-brown, oldest bark gray.
