Habitat: Walked up road past gate through spruce-fir forest; follow road/stream WSW into central basin to fell-field, talus meadow below Crystal Peak at 11200 ft. Then collect along road and seeps down to upper constructed pond at 11000 ft.
Description: Common. In flower and fruit. Bracts and calyces red. Leaves narrow, linear, entire. Bracts with long, linear lobes.
