Habitat: Gentle alluvial slope near valley bottom, along wide shallow wash; creosote bush scrub w/ Larrea, Atriplex polycarpa & many annuals: Descurainia sop. & Schismus ara. common. Well watered by winter rain & silty-clay soil with mud cracks & flakes.
Notes: Scarce annual; fls. with white to pale lavender limb, dull yellow throat.
