Habitat: In aspen understory at edge of spruce-fir forest and open, rocky meadows.
Associated Species: Associated with Ligusticum porteri, Heracleum sphondylium, Hydrophyllum capitatum, Delphinium barbeyi, Viola nuttallii.
Description: Plants much taller than H. capitatum with which it co-occurs. Flowers above leaves. Leaf lobes sharp, pointed. Full bloom. Very common.
