Description: Perennial to 40 cm tall; basal leaves to 12 mm wide, obscurely dentate to entire, with minute dendeitic trichomes; leaves of vegetative shoots pannose when young, with prominent petiolar cilia; petals pale lavender, quickly darkening, to 7mm long; pollen narrowly ellipsoid; fruiting pedicels ascending-spreading, usually with scattered hairs; seeds uniseriate
