Habitat: Oak woodland on N-facing steep slope.
Associated Species: Pinus discolor, Quercus arizonica, Quercus hypoleucoides, Juniperus deppeana, Garrya wrightii, Yucca "schottii," Nolina microcarpa, Carphochaete bigelovii, Rhus aromatica, Comandra umbellata, Artemisia ludoviciana, Castilleja tenuiflora, Muhlenbergia emersleyi, Schizachyrium sanguineum, Silene antirrhina, Cerastium texanum.
Description: Bunchgrass, 75 cm; pistillate plant; spikelets grayish red.
Notes: PAPAZ.
