Habitat: Rocky snow basin below talus slope. Rocky meadow with much bare ground, ~recently melted out.
Description: Herbage shaggy pubescent. Flowers dark purple. Inflorescence many-flowered. Pods pendulous, hairy. Very abundant throughout upper basin.
