Associated Species: Quercus emoryi, Juniperus deppeana, Nolina microcarpa, Dasylirion wheeleri, Mimosa dysocarpa, Muhlenbergia emersleyi, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Bouteloua curtipendula, Bouteloua radicosa, Heteropogon melanocarpus.
Description: Annual forb; leaves and phyllaries with oil glands; phyllary margins pectinate; flower heads rayless.
