Habitat: Oak savanna along seasonal drainage.
Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Prosopis velutina, Fouquieria splendens, Dasylirion wheeleri, Nolina microcarpa, Arctostaphylos pungens, Baccharis salicifolia, Bouteloua curtipendula, Disakisperma dubium, Chloris virgata, Adenophyllum porophyllum var. porophyllum.
Description: Annual forb; leaves lobed, with oil glands; phyllaries with oil glands and pectinate margins; heads discoid.
