Locality: United States, Indiana, Martin, Martin State Forest in tract that borders County Road 78 to the south and County Road 93 to the north. Floodplain of a small ravine stream, about 800 meters north-northwest from Mundy parking lot on County Road 78.

Habitat: Mesic forest. Floodplain of small stream in a broad ravine.
Substrate: Rich soil
Associated Species: Aplectrum hyemale, Jeffersonia diphylla
Description: Flowers yellow with dark veins on lower petal, also on lateral petals to a much lesser degree. Stipules entire. Stems ± glabrous.
Reproductive Condition: Flowers
Notes: Locally common but most not yet in bloom.
