Leavlets glaucous, even-pinnate. Rachis extending beyond terminal pair of leaflets as apicula, 2 mm or less. Leaves held at 45 degree angle along stem. Stems puberulent early, oliaceous, then becoming brownish-tan with smooth trunk. Branches strongly erect, arching or sprawling; large shrub, irregular habit, 3-4 m tall.
