Habitat: W/SW facing 45% slope Gambel's oak community being overtaken by invasive species
Substrate: Rocky, well-drained
Associated Species: Asclepias asperula, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Bromus inermis
Description: Stems twice umbellate, leaves all cauline, trifoliate-pinnate, mostly ascending, serrate, narrow, with the longest/middle leaflet no more than 1 cm long; small 5-merous flowers, 1-2 mm across; simple, appressed-ascending hairs throughout become much more dense in the inflorescence
Reproductive Condition: Flowering
Notes: Growing in one additional nearby area with Opuntia macrorhiza and Bromus tectorum; only a few number of these plants observed; seeds apparently have bristles or hooks and may be getting attached to birds, equipment, people, etc.
