United States, New Mexico, Rio Arriba, Follow US-64 northwest from Taos and turn right onto US-285 and drive north. After roughly 42 miles from the field office, turn left onto FS87 and follow for 24 miles. You will enter into an aspen grove and see an obvious parking turn-off to your right. The Thermopsis will be seen growing in clumps throughout the surrounding meadows.
