Habitat: Great Basin Conifer Woodland Formation of Pinus edulis, Juniperus monosperma with scattered Quercus pungens var. vaseyana; on E. facing steep slope above trail in talus with Desmodium neomexicanum, Desmodium rosei, Cologania angustifolia, Phaseolus metcalfei; flowers bright yellow; relatively common.
