Bordered on north by woodland as well as on southern edge, but southern edge has a railroad and nearby row-crop agriculture. Typhaspp. appear to be heavily impacting fen. Sedge dominate area with Schoenoplectus acutus, Carex sterilis, C. tetanica, and Cladium mariscoides. Dasiphora fruticosa, Solidago uliginosa, and Liatris spicata present. Area about 40m south of woodland edge and marked with marly pools with lots of Sarracenia purpurea.
