Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Wet area dominated by Sparganium sp. And Typha latifolia. Water standing in places. Common species include Ribes hirtellum, Thelypteris palustris and Eutrochium maculatum.
