Locality: United States, Colorado, Larimer, East of Windsor. From I-25, exit 259. Drive 2.1 mi E on Crossroad Blvd., turn left on Haystack. drive 500ft., turn left on Longs Peak Circle. Stop at 4th house on left, walk to back of house and dog park.

Habitat: In the visitor's area of a fenced dog training arena, denuded completely of grasses by trampling, but covered by a monoculture of this species.
Reproductive Condition: Frt
Notes: Plants prostrate, the numerous stems radiating out of a taproot that decays at the end of the season. Evidently native in western U.S. but obviously a tolerated weed here.
