I plotted the UTM 1 mile south of Poncha Pass along HWY 285 and then east of the road. RA
In open S-sloping valley E of road, w/ Melilotus, Artemisia, Comandra, Castilleja, Oxytropis, Astragalus.

Originally identified as Arenaria fendleri Gray. Perennial w/ slender caudices ascending from vertical, swollen elongated root; Corolla white, some petals with red dots in center; anthers red.
