Locality: United States, Colorado, Mesa, Along Interstate-70, 6.4 mi E of Colorado-Utah state line.
Elevation: 1524 meters Verbatim Elevation: 5000 ft, 1524 m
Habitat: Common but scattered in median area of Interstate-70 in gravelly, gray soil. Growing with grasses, Helianthus, and other weeds. Growing intermixed with Wetter 568 (G. fastigiata).
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Notes: 2.0-2.5 ft. tall, branching from base. Many plants forming new rosettes on flowering plants. Young heads in leaf axils. Very resinous. With genetic influence of G. fastigiata.
