Habitat: Pseudotsuga forest. W/ Cheilanthes sp., Sullivantia hapemanii. Cliff walls in vicinity w/ orange crustose lichen and moss cover. Growing in crevices of near vertical cliff face.

Notes: Original ID: Gilia pentstemonoides Jones. Population size: 11-50.
