Habitat: On extremely steep slope littered with boulders, rocks and gravel almost at angle of repose, in Pinus edulis/Juniperus osteosperma/Cercocarpus community w/ scattered Fendlera falcata, Amelanchier utahensis, Boechera selbyi, Mirabilis glandulosa, Galium ..; Common locally under shrubs, against boulders and on adjacent open slope.
