Habitat: Locally frequent among weedy forbs and low shrubs on somewhat sandy tight soils on very gentle slope underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Cenchrus spinifex, Clematis drummondii, Florestina tripteris, Pennisetum ciliare, Prosopis glandulosa, Ruellia sp., Verbena canescens.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
