Habitat: Common in gravel and silt in unshaded dry bed of intermittent stream draining North Canyon. Associates include Bothriochloa laguroides, Brickellia laciniata, Croton monanthogynus, Eriogonum tenellum, Eryngium leavenworthii, Juglans microcarpa, Porophyllum scoparium, Vernonia marginata.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
