Shrublet ca. 1 ft. tall; disks & rays yellow; occasional in shallow, well drained, moderately alkaline, very gravelly loam...over limestone and conglomerate of ...(cretaceous), grassland on moderate, unshaded slope dotted with Ashe juniper and live oak.
Reproductive Condition: fruting=late
