Locality: United States, Florida, Santa Rosa, Gulf Islands National Seashore, Naval Live Oaks Unit. Marsh below steep bank southeast of picnic area along Santa Rosa Sound near southeastern boundary of Unit along gated gravel road just off of Hwy 98.

Habitat: Marsh below steep bank. Soil characteristics: Leon sand, 0 to 2 percent slopes (24) - very deep, moderate to moderately slowly permeable, poorly drained, nearly level soil on broad low positions on the Coastal Plain. Associated plant species: Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani, Sagittaria lancifolia ssp. media, Cladium jamaicense, Ptilimnium capillaceum, Bolboschoenus robustus, Lythrum lineare. Uncommon.
Substrate: Leon sand
