Habitat: Old roadbed on S-facing slope in mesquite grassland.
Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Prosopis velutina, Eysenhardtia orthocarpa, Agave palmeri, Yucca madrensis, Brickellia californica, Bouteloua curtipendula, Eragrostis intermedia, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Melinis repens, Muhlenbergia emersleyi, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Artemisia ludoviciana, Pectis, Hackelochloa granularis, Chamaecrista nictitans, Verbena xylopoda, Bouteloua repens, Muhlenbergia alopecuroides.
Description: Perennial subshrub, 1 m wide x 0.9 m tall; flowers white.
