Locality: Mexico, Baja California Sur, El Caimancito, £ km north of La Paz along Hwy 11 toward Pichilingue, Collected on rocky alluvium cut by arroyos at the foot of steep-sided volcanic hills overlooking the Bahia de La Paz, across the highway from the Hotel El Presidente.

Elevation: 3-15 meters Verbatim Elevation: 10-50ft
Habitat: Clay soil, very wet and sticky at this time, Desert scrub vegetation.
Description: A fairly common erect shrub 5-6 ft. high with eellow flowers growing in the wash and at the foot of slopes, but no on rocky hillsides
