Locality: United States, Colorado, Gunnison, Meadow bordered by Veratrum and Populus tremuloides. 0.2 miles in and to the right from the 401/Copper Creek Trailhead (first trail spur north of Gothic). Pass through willows and along a Veratrum-bordered path to reach meadow. Also a 2016 Inouye research site.

Georeference Remarks: This is above the Virginia Mine Road, not far from its jct. with the 401 Trail.
Elevation: 3007-3011 meters Verbatim Elevation: 9866-9878ft.
Habitat: Heavily vegetated meadow off the 401 Trail; not heavily trafficked.
Associated Species: Growing with many heterospecific flowers including Senecio bigelovii, Potentilla spp., and Taraxacum officinale.
Description: Ribbon-like leaves, not yet in full flower at collection.
